近期，由丁黑执导，孙俪、陈晓领衔主演的一部年代剧《那年花开月正圆》在国外引发热评。与传统国产历史剧不同，《那年花开月正圆》描写了清朝末期秦商家族的传奇故事的同时，也融入了喜剧、爱情、商战等元素，人物形象被刻画得更加鲜活，剧情也更接地气。剧中女主周莹不服输，敢于与世俗作斗争的精神和中国商人讲义气、不欺不诈的经商原则无不打动着每一位观众的心，传递出满满的正能量。

该剧以陕西省泾阳县安吴堡吴氏家族的史实为背景，讲述了清末出身民间的陕西女首富周莹跌宕起伏的人生故事。该剧制作精良，演员演技在线，预告片一登陆YouTube等国外视频网站，便收获了很多外国观众的关注。然而不知为何，原版剧集正式上线后，带有英文字幕的翻译版本更新得奇慢无比，致使外国网友们纷纷在论坛上求字幕：

可是，外国观众们真挚的请求似乎被无视了。网友们等得花儿都要谢了，却迟迟不见英文字幕版的踪影……有网友不高兴了：
"I keep checking in on Youtube for when the most recent episodes are up. Usually, that's late at night or early morning for me. What really is a torment is that no one is taking them up on the "Why don't YOU write the subtitles to help everyone learn how good this is?" Just bite the bullet and put up your own subtitles like some of the Thai channels do."

终于，很多网友等不下去了。毕竟，光看预告片就已经牢牢抓住了观众的心，女主角又是凭借《甄嬛传》《芈月传》等作品圈粉无数的娘娘孙俪，就算没有字幕，网友们也不忍心弃剧啊！
"Okay, as I watching without subs, what's up with the creepy duo who keep meeting up with Shen Xingyi's dad? The more dominant one (the boss? I think he may be the opera performer we see in previews) is cutting some sort of dubious business dealings and seems to like hanging around Wu Ping. What is going on here?"

"Thanks lan_lan! I've been watching without subtitles so I really appreciate the summary of what's up with the deeper plot. Despite lack of subtitles, I really like this drama so far. Just based on the trailers and MV - not to mention the ost - I have a feeling this one could be an emotional one but I think I'll be watching thru despite any tears."

当然，也有网友决定耐心等待字幕版剧集的推出，毕竟纯看画面实在太费神太难懂了。
"Really hope someday V iki, Dramafever, or someone else will pick this up for subbing. If not, I'll wait until I know enough Chinese to watch it :)"

就这样，有的外国网友半猜半讨论地看完了该剧，有的网友懂一些中文，自行看完了原版剧集，还有的通过购买DVD看完全剧。然而不管以何种方式看完此剧，网友们对《那年花开月正圆》的评价却不低，甚至有一些之前对国产历史剧不感冒的外国网友也纷纷表示被该剧圈粉。

"I've thoroughly enjoyed this drama but really did not foresee that ending. I don't usually watch many historical dramas (especially chinese ones) as I can't usually get into them but after watching only one episode of Nothing Gold Can Stay I was hooked and eagerly staying up till 2am awaiting the next 2 episode's release. I also don't watch Chinese dramas due to their lengths, I'm the type of person who usually has to finish the whole show unless it's really unbearable to watch and 60+ episodes can be daunting. Long dramas can also be a little dragged out in some parts due to the need to produce a large number of episodes but with Nothing Gold Can Stay I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of each episode and the plot. "

At first, didn't really like watching drama set in the Ching era with the demise of the dragon throne, foreign dominance, opium war, chaotic revolutionary changes but this drama won me over with the brilliant setting, costume and the acting is absolutely gorgeous. "
